I am a fan of titles which are run-on sentences and also of [PANK]

19 Apr

On the sixth of April [Pank] unleashed this beast of a poem by Rose Hunter. The title is what caught me:

The Physical Impossibility of Death in Someone Living, or How I Recall You, Absent, With Two Red and White Things, Memento Moris

This made me think of watching Rocky and Bullwinkle Reruns in the mornings before leaving for the bus-stop when I was a child. I was always an enthusiast of the episode’s dual titles. For example: Falling Stars or Only a Plumber Should Plummet; I’m Out of Bullets or Pour Me Another Shot.

I digress.

The poem is nothing like Rocky and Bullwinkle.

And I really think you should read it.
