xTx would ask polar bears about love.

12 Oct

xTx has a poem up right now in The Northville Review that’s so cute and wonderful and lonely and longing it makes my stomach gush cartwheels and awww, man. I mean, it has polar bears and love advice and warm belly fur and blood:

I would ask a polar bear
for love advice
because when they
find dead rotting whale carcass
they eat from it
until their faces are
covered with blood and
defend
their dead whale carcass
until they can’t move
anymore and I think
that says something about
tenacity or
will or strength

Seriously. Read the rest here.
I want to hug a polar bear now, and curl up in its warmth like that time when Han Solo cut open the belly of the fuzzy velociraptor thing to keep Luke warm in its innards because Luke was his best friend.

Drink Coca-Cola.

Of course, xTx. That poem seriously made my morning 10x better. Great work.

Well, thank you Christopher. I sometimes go overboard, testing it out on Facebook, where my friends are you know, then I let it trickle to other places.

        I JUST GET SO STOKED
