In an ideal world, this page wouldn’t have to exist. Vouched would just shack up with a wealthy benefactor, but given the lack of wealthy benefactors, we are left with shaking a tin can at our foot traffic.
To be brief, Vouched has big ideas, and unfortunately, big ideas usually take big dollars. I hope we’ve already proven that we can do a good deal with very little, but we want to do so much more. We have plans to file for 501(c)3 status. We have plans to launch a bookmobile. We have plans to take back the world for books.
If you love what we do here at Vouched, you can show your support in a number of ways, for all of which we will love you forever.
Are you an author or editor looking to promote your book or online journal? We offer ad space here at Vouched Online at really affordable rates! The site averages approximately 3,000 visitors a month, and growing, growing.
We understand slim wallets, and so please don’t feel obligated to donate, but if you feel so inclined, you have our promise that your donation will go toward making the world a more awesome place.
If you’re not into that whole lump sum thing, you can subscribe to Vouched for $2/month. NB: You can take part in everything Vouched has to offer without a subscription. This is just to show support for the Vouched mission.
Buy from Powell’s or Amazon
If you’re purchasing a book, we encourage you to buy directly from the press if possible, or from any number of independent venues available (indiebound.org, spdbooks.org, your local bookstore). We are also a proud partner of Powell’s Books, and receive a referral commission when you purchase any books from them using that link.
You can even support Vouched when you need to buy a vacuum or a scratching post for your cat! If you use this link to buy anything at all from Amazon, Vouched receives a commission.
You can even bookmark these links for future purchases!
Show Up, Tell All Your Friends
You might not be able to spare the cash to support Vouched, as much as you might want to, and hey, that’s totally okay! We understand cash being tight. Christopher actually resorted to dumpster diving at times to get through college.
You can still support Vouched by coming out to our readings and whooping up the readers, stopping by our guerrilla bookstores (even if you can’t buy books, we love talking to people!), and just genuinely being excited about what we’re doing here and spreading the word about it.
